mountain bike routes in the west-Algarve. After the
ride, you relax in the pool or hammock.
Together with other Park visitors you can use the
Outdoor Kitchen, or enjoy a local meal in the village.

You will bike in the south-west area of the Algarve
hemmed by small beaches and protected by impressive
steep cliffs. It seems to be a coast of secrets which is
waiting to be discovered. The routes are mainly on
forest paths, gravel roads and occasionally good tarmac
roads. Although its never very steep up- or downhill,
some off road experience is welcome. This bike week is a
great opportunity for sunny off road biking!
From
the village Bara de São João you will bike 7 km to
Lagos at the south-coast. Inland you'll find small
rivers and beautiful lakes. The habitants here are
extremely friendly, sometimes you'll see donkeys pulling
wagons on the street.
The
Cabin Park is
situated two kilometres of the authentic village Barão
de São João, with cosy bars, restaurants and small
shops. Your Cabin Park is an oasis of serenity, where
you can “come home” after an intensive mountain bike
day.
In winter you can sit in the communal area with a good
glass of Portuguese wine, next to the fireplace. You can
also relax in your cosy room with seat outside.
In summer relax in the pool or hammock.
A good breakfast is included and is a real treat, and
will be served to you in the sunny garden by the
friendly staff.
The Cabin Park exists
of 4 hectare sloping terrain with
a huge colourful garden and a field full off old
almond-, olive- and fig trees. The owners attach worth
